I like to think they could be married.  It's not necessarily a political marriage, since Kaedi and her brother were friends before... it just kinda sealed the deal. Besides, Kaedi needs a hot wife and it can't just be any old thing XD  And he can also have other women if he wants (or men :\).  It's an odd relationship; they share a mutual respect and attraction, but that's probably all there is to it.  Luckily, Aerona is pretty much free to do as she wants as well, since Kaedi doesn't really care XD  She doesn't though, since nobody is good enough for her :P

Anyway, this is just prelim. sketches... especially for the outfits *dies*  Aerona will be having a corset, yes... I just haven't 100% figured out the boning on it yet x-x  These outfits are their sort of... "every day" things. And no, they don't wear shoes indoors...ever XD

I think maybe the image should be longer...more sea/b/g. I just took a screen of the game while I was perched on the VP so obviously couldn't get all that much in there. It's in Acre, by the sea.

Balthier Bunansa, Final Fantasy 12.

Got a trial of Corel Painter X, decided to try it out. The lines are much nicer in Corel but navigation and brush selection is a pain in the arse, even with the custom options. Plus, the shortcuts make no sense. Oh, and I don't like my scratchy new tablet.

• Display: As I've complained about before, the picture is absolutely appalling on 'normal' television sets. The 360 has a lead you can change from 'TV' to 'HDTV' for a reason - Microsoft realise that we're not all earning thousands of pounds a week and quite often us gamers would probably rather pay the bills and buy food than buy an HDTV for a few hundred pounds, particularly since gaming is essentially the only thing that is ready for use on HDTVs right now. Now, Koei don't seem to understand this - try playing this game on a regular television set and you won't see a thing. I've had to play several stages in the dark and relying purely on the map which, coincidentally, is also incredibly hard to read on a regular TV thanks to the more interesting environments they've come up with. Dark stages mean you have to constantly zoom in to your map and follow the map without looking where your character is going, and repeatedly pressing the start button so you can check you're going in the right direction since you can't see which way your arrow is pointing. It's not great. The camera angle has also changed and often zooms in or out, or moves to another angle for no reason (yeah hi, if I wanted to see Dian Wei's butt, I'd draw it) which makes it (a) a pain in the backside and (b) hard to play as you're also constantly trying to alter the angle. Pressing RB can centre the camera, but if the game doesn't like the angle you choose, the game will change it. Answer? Leave it as it was in SW2 and WO - there was nothing wrong with it.

In conclusion? Better than I thought it was last time I bitched, but really it isn't that much of an improvement on DW4 or DW5. It has a few perks (morale is cute, I quite like the chain of attacks & Cao Cao is really sexy) but on the whole, this is so painfully average; there's nothing revolutionary, nothing exceptional, nothing that makes me sit back and go "WOW" (except, as I said, Cao Cao being seriously sexy XD).

I'm glad I didn't even pay £8 subscription to get this on paid rental! Koei, I'm disappointed. Very disappointed.

10 minus 9 for disappointment value, plus 2 for it being the same old DW, plus 1 for minor improvements = 4/10

Not that great. Surprise, surprise.  Good thing I stopped looking forward to it months before the trash was released in Japan, otherwise I'd be incredibly disappointed. As it is, I'm pretty fucked off.
